Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 4 July 2026
1. Who you are contracting with
SyncShot™ (the "Service") is operated by Shlomo Elikplim Yao Dunyo, a sole trader based in Leeds, United Kingdom ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service you ("you", "user") agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation. If you are using it as an individual, you confirm you are of legal age to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
2. The Service
SyncShot™ lines up two or more videos of the same moment on a single shared timeline so you can switch angles, loop sections, slow down, annotate and share — plus Spatial Context™, which shows how people are oriented in the space as the video plays. It is built for dance, martial arts, sports, fitness, gymnastics, physical therapy, music practice, and any hands-on skill. Some features are available free of charge; others require a paid plan.
3. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose, fraud, or spam;
- upload content you do not have the right to upload, or that infringes anyone's intellectual-property, privacy or publicity rights;
- upload illegal content, sexual content involving minors, hate speech, harassment, or content depicting real violence;
- attempt to interfere with the security of the Service — including probing, scanning, scraping, distributing malware, or circumventing access controls;
- reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service or any output that is not your own content.
3.1 Tool-specific acceptable use
In addition to the general rules above, the following per-tool restrictions apply. Breach of any of these is a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account and removal of the offending content.
- SyncShot™ Live — for live broadcasting of in-person sessions, classes and practices filmed by the broadcaster on their own devices. You may not use it to restream copyrighted third-party content (TV channels, films, sport, concerts), to operate an IPTV-style channel or service, or to broadcast any footage you do not have the right to transmit. Any user may report a live session from within the session page; reports are reviewed and offending sessions and accounts will be terminated.
- Capture & Join — for recording or contributing angles of a moment you are physically present at, on your own devices. When you contribute an angle to someone else's session, you confirm you have the right to film and share that footage.
- Auto — automatically aligns the videos you provide onto a shared timeline. You may only upload footage of yourself, of a session you took part in, or footage you have the explicit right to sync and analyse.
- Spatial Context™ — derives each person's facing direction, turns, and floor path from pose geometry to draw an on-video compass and floor map. It does not generate images, video, audio, or synthetic likenesses, does not identify individuals, and does not perform face recognition or biometric ID. You may not use it to surveil, profile, or attempt to identify any individual, and you may only run it on footage you have the right to analyse.
- Studio & Vault — editing, exporting and storage tools for your own synced sessions. You may not use exports to misrepresent people or to redistribute content you do not own.
4. Your content and AI outputs
You retain ownership of the videos and other content you upload. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, transcode, and process that content solely so we can provide the Service to you (including syncing, spatial analysis, playback and export). You are responsible for the videos you upload, for verifying the accuracy of any automated output, and for how you use it. Automated outputs — including sync alignment and Spatial Context™ — are provided for study and practice purposes only and may be inaccurate; they are not a substitute for in-person coaching, medical, or other professional advice. If a rights-holder believes content on the Service infringes their rights, they can contact us at the email below and we will remove infringing material and, where appropriate, terminate repeat infringers.
5. Intellectual property
The Service itself — software, models, documentation, branding, and the SyncShot™ and Spatial Context™ names and logos — is and remains our property. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within the plan you have subscribed to.
6. Plans, subscriptions and purchases
SyncShot offers a Free plan plus paid Creator and Coach subscriptions and a one-time Lifetime purchase. Paid plans are processed by Stripe, Inc. Stripe handles payment processing, invoicing, tax, refunds, chargebacks and related customer service. By purchasing a plan you agree that payment processing is subject to Stripe's terms of service. Refunds are handled per our Refund Policy.
If you downgrade or cancel a paid plan, existing sessions, links, exports and Vault items are kept, but Free-plan limits then apply and any over-limit items may become read-only until you free up space or upgrade again.
7. Service availability
We work hard to keep the Service running but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time. To the fullest extent permitted by law, all implied warranties (including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose) are disclaimed.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay amounts due, pose a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly violate our policies. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we may delete your content after a reasonable export window.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you (for example by email or via the Service). Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
